    January 8th, 2009 at 07:59:43 Yes, it's the album track and it's Tyler lip-synching to her own vocal but the guy with the guitar is not Rory Dodd who sang opposite Tyler on the album and in the live Grammy performance. Anyone who was around in the 80's knows only one singer owns that voice and it's Rory Dodd. His vocal is often misrepresented in clips of this song and other Steinman tunes.

    January 8th, 2009 at 08:45:41 actually it may be rory dodds as someone else has stated. I allways thought it was steinman himself. BTW I think meat loaf was suppossed to sing this song but he had voice trouble at the time and Bonnie got the job. lucky break for her.

    January 8th, 2009 at 10:17:37 I am pretty sure the guy who says "turn around bright eyes" on the record is Jim steinman who wrote the song. as with all top of the pops appearances this was mimed so they could have filled the stage with anyone. TOTP only went "live" quite recently and then of course it died. although the xmas special was very good this year.
