Everytime a player challenged him or the press doubted on him or something like that happened, Jordan came out, and proved everybody wrong. Time after time, he always proved doubters and haters wrong. He was, mentally, the greatest athlete ever and that's why, he is and always will be the best.

BTW im basing this by accomplishments not by who's more athletic cause kobe wins that hands down.
