Touhou 11 東方地霊殿 - Subterranean Animism Stage 6 Normal

This is about my 15th try on this stage on normal, it was very hard to get used to, but i got everything on this stage easy now, except for the two last spellcards. So, enter Reiuzi Utsuho, the most ridiculous touhou character ever conceived, but she seems pretty badass regardless with her massive attacks and vindicative face. Shes pretty much space, stars and atomic bomb themed.. go figure. The stage is a bit boring, its just dodging aimed attacks for the most part, nothing very difficult. The boss introduces a new kind of bullet, which i called the "humongous face-melting sun bullets", which takes pretty much half of the screen or so. Her attacks force you to move very slightly and be careful, something i dont really like since id rather go crazy, but what am i wishing for.. this is a danmaku. Whats interesting is her final spellcard, its pretty much a blackhole that tries to suck everything in, including you, so if you dont try to move back towards the bottom of the screen, youll get attracted to her, and the lower her health gets, the stronger the attraction is. Just so i can spare you the BS though, when she dies, she levels to another level of "gravity", where your focused speed is exactly equal with the speed of the attraction, so you cant run away unless you unfocus, therefore you could easily die when she dies if you dont react quickly enough... just like i did on one attempt... on my last life, yeah, that sucked lol

Curiosamente, descubrí que nada en Islandia se acerca remotamente a lo que para mí es normal. Al principio esta anormalidad me sorprendió de forma desagradable. Para empezar tuve que tomar un vuelo con tres escalas (México, Houston, Miniápolis, Reykiavik) para llegar a un país en donde el idioma es tan indescifrable que ni siquiera quieres intentar pronunciarlo; en donde un mugre hot dog te cuesta 200 pesos y toda el agua (incluida con la que te bañas y la que te tomas) huele a huevo podrido (Islandia, siendo un país volcánico, tiene agua llena de azufre). Para acabarla de amolar, las temperaturas bajas y el viento, si te agarran desprevenidos, pueden ocasionar que dejes de sentir tus manos por varios minutos y empieces a cuestionarte si podrás volver a tocar un instrumento en tu vida. Pero Islandia, es como su anormalidad: te sorprende, pero termina por agradarte. Todas estas cosas que al principio odié, y que pensé que harían de mi viaje una pesadilla, formaron parte de lo que terminó por encantarme. No entender ni jota del idioma nos llevó a hacer caso omiso de los mapas que traíamos (Snjorjljossnqueeee!!) y nos llevó a tomar la carretera N1 sin saber que nos llevaría a conocer los paisajes más espectaculares: kilómetros y kilómetros de roca volcánica cubierta de moho que te transportaba a los escenarios del Señor de los Anillos. El agua con olor a azufre tomaba todas las formas posibles: hileras de cascadas altísimas bordeando el glaciar más grande del país, enormes icebergs flotando en medio de un lago que conecta con el mar, creando un silencio tan profundo que se convierte en ruido; playas en blanco y negro, olas en caos: agua por todas partes. El clima tan adverso, obliga a los habitantes a encerrarse en sus casas y encontrar pasatiempos de todo tipo. La música es uno de ellos. Es admirable qe un país de 300,000 habitantes cuente con proyectos creativos interesantísimos como el de Bjork y Sigur Ros, sin contar innumerables talentos que promueve el festival Iceland Airwaves. Lo más importante de mi viaje a Islandia fue que esta anormalidad terminó por revelarme, que es bueno, de vez en cuando, salirse de la normalidad para poder volver a sentir aquello que teníamos olvidado; un pueblo fantasma me hizo darme cuenta que aún soy capaz de sentir miedo auténtico; voltear 360 grados y no ver nada hecho por el hombre me recordó que la naturaleza fue primero y que nosotros somos la especie en peligro de extinción y una tormenta de nieve que puso nuestras vidas en peligro nos hizo no querer partir sin decir todo lo que queríamos decir. Finalmente Islandia fue un destino que nos hizo regresar a la normalidad de nuestras rutinas cargados de algo que sólo un suceso anormal puede dejar en ti. Por esto quiero regresar, y por eso recomiendo ir.
