Remember 1997? Carmen Sagndiego was on the air, Bill Clinton was in office, and Robot Wars had just begun its first season. Let's remember simpler times with a battle between 4 robots from the first season of Robot Wars. Roadblock- The winner of season 1, and hoping to hold onto its crown. It's a wedge shape with a circular saw, and its armour is made out of street signs. Mortis- It's black, the colour of death, and it has a deadly tanto blade. It cost 10,000 pounds(!) but never really lived up to expectations. Killertron- A pink robot with a pickaxe weapon and snowplow. Its shell is made from a trashbin lid. Psychosprout- What's this one doing here? It's just a ball with an r/c car inside. Absolutely no weapons, I don't see how this one can win, but stranger things have happened. Song is "Don't you Forget About Me" by Simple Minds. He tried to ask Hogan about how to get into the wrestling business and Hogan blew him off. Later that night at the arena, right before Hogan's match was to start, Road Block jump the rail. he chased Hogan's opponent, One Man Gang, around the ring and pinned him. As a result Road Block was arrested.
